One more idea is to do a garage conversion, where we take an existing garage and turn it into a fully enclosed and functional room, like a TV den, a guest bedroom suite, or anything you need it to be. It can be a cost effective way to gain a new room if you are on a budget and you don't really utilize your garage that often.

Although you can always add more bathrooms, bedrooms, and closets, there are some other interesting possibilities to consider. What about a sun room, where you can enjoy the view and ambiance of the great outdoors but without actually being in the elements? Or perhaps a conservatory for your plants?
We can also do bump-outs for any room, such as breakfast nooks for a kitchen or dining room, or we can create a reading alcove by adding bench seating to an expanded window area. The possibilities are nearly endless.

As houses age, any number of issues can arise, either suddenly and unexpectedly or after you've seen it slowly materialize (or dematerialize, in this instance) over a period of time. Often said to be the heart of any home, the kitchen, in our experience, is certainly the stomach of the home. It doesn't matter if you're a culinary wizard or just an avid microwave user, the kitchen is where we prepare the food we love for the people we love (even if you're dining alone). We spend so much time cooking or socializing here that it would be a shame to think of it in merely utilitarian terms. A kitchen needs to be inviting, with the colors and patterns that will inspire you to be the next Chef Ramsey, or simply to be comfortable with your surroundings while you entertain guests. Kitchens are something we enjoy remodeling.

Even if you don't have a 180-degree panoramic view of the mountains, a deck or porch addition to a home provides a cozy and relaxing area to enjoy the outdoors, hang out with family and friends, grill or barbecue, write or paint, or just take a nice Sunday afternoon nap.
Also, as mentioned previously, sometimes the structures of a house fail with age or weather, and decks and porches are particularly susceptible as they are constantly exposed to the elements, even when mostly covered. Repairs or entire replacements can sometimes be necessary, and we can help with that.

It provides a space for the most necessary of biological functions, but it can be more than that, especially after an inspired makeover. A bathroom can be a relaxing, lovely room for hot showers, warm baths, getting ready for an important event or a big night out. It's all in the little details, which is something we excel at.
